Great food. Everything was cooked to perfection. Lots of desserts to choose from too

The salmon may have been a frozen deal. Dry and no flavor. My granddaughter loved it. The staff needs to smile more and try some interpersonal skills. I may try it again because I do love some of their other foods like meatloaf and steak sandwiches.

Fun place to eat.. good food. Only issue was they were too busy to give proper attention to each table. More staff? Still a good experience.

The lobster was great and the fried oysters out of this world. The atmosphere is pure fun and the service warm and friendly. We arrived at the end of tourist season so the beer list was limited. Didn't detract, though. We'll be back to taste more before we head back to Michigan!

Great service and great food. A lot of side dish options. Totally enjoy it every time.

Awesome lobster! Its a nice and cozy place to dine in. Lots of parking and just by the roadside. Their lobster is good with butter! Shell sea foods are also served and they are as tasty. They have many side dish too. I got the blue berry pie after my main dish during a dinner.

Lovely place! We were trying to find a place for lobster but lots of places were closed in late Oct. Finally we found here! It was a little busy as locals and tourists both came here for its quality food. But we were seated immediately as we called 15 mins ahead. The people were super nice and helpful. Price was so reasonable comparing to the restaurants in Bar Harbour.

This place is ok. Large portions. Tons of fried food. Good prices. Very appreciative of military discount. Large menu. Tap water with seems to be no filtration. Outside seating but no protection against mosquitos, etc. There is also indoor seating. Close to Ellsworth. Not a lot of options in the area so decided to try. Fried pickles were very good. Kind of an eclectic redneck place.

We wanted to find a place that was outside of Bar Harbor and we were super happy that we found Ruth and Wimpy’s. We had the seafood platter and wings. So much food. The platter was more than enough for two to share. The scallops, shrimp and haddock were my favourite. You can see in the one photo, holding my scallop, how juicy they were. The service was friendly and fast. Coming by often to fill our drinks and check on us. If you ever get near this place you’ve got to try it.

Hahaha they were closed when we got here. But I just know if they were open we would have loved it. Sorry we missed you but we are California bound.

Clam chowder was good. It said creamy, so I expected thick. It wasn't. My wife got a burnt hot dog, as requested, and it was perfect. Them it was smothered in mac N cheese in a toasted / buttered roll. So good! Ordered a whisky: Old Grand Daddy. Never heard of it. Did not find it on Google. I made sure our waitress didn't mean Old Grand Dad. She checked twice. LOL. Lots of lobsters being served here. Everyone seemed happy with the servings & portions. We would eat here again.

Been here twice in two years and it's just ok. Both times we waited quite a while to be seated when empty tables were visible. Both times we waited even longer to get our food. Waitress was friendly once we were seated. Food was good, not great. It would go a long way for me if they'd just learn how to get people seated and served faster. Prices seemed fair.
